Andre House food drive
As part of Emaho’s humanitarian mission, we partner with Andre House in downtown Phoenix to provide food for those in need. In addition, Emaho's Bodhisattva Teens group has volunteered its time helping to serve meals. Andre House is requesting donations of bottled water, essential for survival in our summer heat. Also needed are men’s work boots. If you can help supply either, please bring to Emaho Center when it is convenient and we will see these get to Andre House and into the hands of people in need.Thank you!
WATER DISTRIBUTION ON SAKA DAWA, JUNE 15, 2011
To mark Saka Dawa, the great virtuous month of the Buddha's Birthday, Enlightenment and Parinirvana, we were able to distribute 1500 - one thousand five hundred - bottles of water to Andre House, a homeless shelter, to help during the hot summer days. We thank you for your kind donation of water. We dedicate this merit for long life of H. H the Dalai Lama, world peace, and happiness and prosperity in the world.
